Product Design Leader & UX Strategist
DOWNLOAD RESUME

I am a Product Design Leader and UX Strategist with 16+ years of experience designing and leading digital products across enterprise, financial services, insurance, and platform-based systems. My work focuses on solving complex, data-heavy problems through research-driven decision-making, system thinking, and scalable design practices.

I operate across the full UX lifecycle - from defining research strategy and framing ambiguous problem spaces to shaping information architecture, interaction models, design systems, and usability standards. I work closely with product, engineering, and business stakeholders to ensure design decisions are grounded in user insights, operational realities, and long-term scalability.

My strength lies in creating clarity within complex systems. I specialize in simplifying multi-role workflows, standardizing fragmented experiences, and building design systems that enable teams to ship consistently and confidently. I’ve led initiatives involving persona definition, usability evaluations, heuristic reviews, and design governance to ensure products meet both user expectations and enterprise standards.

I am most effective in environments that demand rigor, collaboration, and accountability - where design must balance user needs, business goals, technical constraints, and regulatory considerations. My goal is to build products that are not only usable and elegant, but also durable, scalable, and operationally effective.

Beyond hands-on design, I function as a design leader within organizations - guiding teams, reviewing UX work, establishing best practices, and advocating for user-centered design at a systemic level. I actively contribute to improving design maturity by introducing repeatable processes, documentation standards, and shared design language across teams.

How I Lead & Work

I lead design through problem framing, decision clarity, and cross-functional influence, not hierarchy alone. Depending on the context, this has meant guiding designers, collaborating with engineers and product leaders, and acting as a UX advisor within delivery teams.

My approach to research is pragmatic and context-driven. I use methods such as heuristic evaluations, workflow analysis, usability reviews, stakeholder interviews, and synthesis workshops to surface insights that inform structural and strategic decisions - choosing depth and speed based on the problem, constraints, and risk involved.
